STONEY CREEK - ........Jenna Parris nets the 1st goal for Brock University in 2024.   The Badgers sealed their first victory of 2024 with a score of 2-1 vs Ontario Tech University.  Great start to the New Year.

TORONTO - ...The Badgers added their second of the game in the 32nd minute as Jenna Parris fired in a cross that found the right corner of the net. At halftime, the Badgers carried a 2-0 lead.

Career High - 5 GOals!


TORONTO - Continuing her breakout season, sophomore Jenna Parris continues to produce for Brock, helping them make playoffs for the second straight season after a drought.  Jenna has netted a career high 5 goals and 3 assists entering the playoffs.

ST. CATHARINES - ........With only minutes, if not only a handful of seconds,  Jenna secured the Brock victory with a perfectly placed header into the back of the net.  Amazing ball delivered from Kyra Eaton.  First win of the season!

WATERLOO - ......the Laurier Golden Hawks at Brock Alumni Field in St. Catharines on Saturday, Sept. 16.  Brock's second-year striker, Jenna Parris, opened the scoring at 5:30 with an assist from Irelan Scanlon to give the Badgers an early lead.........

Athlete of the Week

ST. CATHARINES - Jenna Parris (Hamilton, Ont) of the women's soccer team and Marc Iantomasi (Hamilton, Ont) of the men's soccer team have been named the Brock University Athletes of the Week for the period ending Sunday, Sept. 10. 

Parris, a second-year striker who is studying Teacher Education (Junior Intermediate), scored the game-tying goal for the Brock women's soccer team during their home opening 1-1 draw versus the McMaster Marauders on Friday, Sept. 8. Parris recorded six shots on goal while playing a full 90 minutes. Parris also added a shot on goal during a 0-0 draw at McMaster on Sunday, Sept. 9.

Brock vs McMaster - Second Leg

HAMILTON - ......the Brock women's soccer team battled to scoreless draw against the McMaster Marauders in Hamilton on Sunday, Sept. 10.  It's the second consecutive draw for both squads after a 1-1 draw at Brock on Friday, Sept. 8.  McMaster outshot Brock 12-7.  Striker Jenna Parris and winger Sabrina Bisante each recorded two shots.

Brock vs McMaster - 2023 season opener

ST. CATHARINES - ......Down one goal the Badgers pressed with the increased physicality, at the end of the first half, second-year forward Jenna Parris was able to take advantage of a ball delivered from Sabrina Bisante to head it into the back of the net.  This goal tied the game and it ended up being the final score.  With that tenacity Jenna was awarded player of the game.

Reflecting on Black history can lead to change

Jenna Parris recognizes that history can be learned, but also lost.

The Brock women’s soccer forward wants to ensure Black history is not forgotten and that it continues to help shed light on important issues affecting society, such as systemic racism and discrimination.

Growing up in a Barbadian and Ukrainian household, Parris was exposed to a variety of cultural backgrounds and viewed Black history from a unique perspective.

“Researching Black history’s milestones reveals these extraordinary stories of struggle, achievements and perspective of how far we’ve come as a society and how far we have to go,” said the first-year Teacher Education student from Hamilton.

Brock vs Laurier - Game Winner

WATERLOO - ......While the Badgers thrived with the increased physicality, the Golden Hawks desperation led to some untimely fouls as the home side accrued four second half yellow cards. Meanwhile, first-year forward Jenna Parris was able to take advantage of the miscommunications within the Golden Hawks defence and score what would become the game-winning goal in the 59th minute of play.....

Jenna scored the eventual game winner to secure 3 crucial points for her and the Brock Badgers.  This tap in goal pushed the Badgers ahead of the Laurier Golden Hawks and Brock now holds the tie breaker between the two teams.

Brock vs McMaster

ST CATHARINES - The Brock Badgers women's soccer team dropped a 1-0 decision to the visiting McMaster Marauders on Friday evening at Alumni Field.

Brock started the contest strong maintaining possession throughout the first 30 minutes while putting together some excellent passing resulting in chances on goal. This included two shots on net from forward Jenna Parris who was a threat up front for the Badgers..............

Brock vs Waterloo

WATERLOO - Finishing a home-and-home series with the Waterloo Warriors, the Brock Badgers women's soccer team earned their second straight win following a 3-1 result in Waterloo on Sunday afternoon.

The Badgers offence repeated their Friday performance, scoring three goals for the second consecutive game. Striker Jenna Parris opened the scoring for Brock in just the 13th minute, followed by a 37th minute goal from Juliana Andolina. The two first half goals saw the Badgers carry a 2-1 lead into the halftime break...............

ST CATHARINES - Welcoming fans to Alumni Field for the first home game of the 2022 season the Badgers were down quickly as the home side conceded a goal just 30 seconds into action. Moving exceptionally quick down the field off the kick off it was Alexa Megnon who scored for the Lancers.

Despite the early goal the contest transitioned to an even matchup as both teams produced several offensive opportunities, especially with the Badgers consistently looking for an equalizer. Up front first-year forward Jenna Parris made several outside runs producing two shots on goal in the match, while second-year forward Brianna Bishop delivered two near goals off long free kicks................

1st OUA GOAL for brock

Jenna scored her first Season goal in her rookie season with the Badgers.  This is the second time Jenna has found the back of the net after scoring in an exhibition vs Niagara College.
